Obituary: JILL ADAMS (1930-2008)

Jill Adams, star of stage, screen and television, passed away in her Clareanse home on May 13, 2008, after a brave, arduous fight with cancer.

She may best be remembered for her comedic roles in such films as Doctor at Sea and Brothers in Law, but few will ever forget her fabulous cooking, which graced several Algarve restaurants. Jill first moved to the Algarve in 1971, where she and her first husband, BBC TV and radio personality Peter Haigh, took over the Gale
