See she has clothes on. A lot had tragic lives such as her. She suffered six traumatic years in a notoriously abusive American mental hospital. Committed to the asylum by her mother Lillian she, or so they say, had an alcohol problem. Dr.Donald Nicholson helped! This was a man who thought political dissidents were insane. Frances suffered electroshock therapy, hydrotherapy and experimental drugs there and also they say torture, rape and a lobotomy. Anything is possible after latest news events!

One of the unfortunate incidents involving the late Frances Farmer and the police. She had a pretty rough time after finding fame. She slipped into drink and drugs and became a loose cannon in society. After being placed in a number of institutions, she was married to Lief Ericsson, but this failed and her slide into manic depression, drink and drugs became all consuming. In the mental institutions she was given Electro therapy, insulin injection which caused brain damage, she was strait jacketed, chained up, experimental drugs were tried on her person, gang raped by drunks and soldiers whilst being held down by her protectors, dropped into freezing water for several hours and finally given a partial Lobotomy which changed her irrevocably. She was dead at 57.
At least she is not forgotten....
