    I am aware that the Film ' Last Man to Hang' 1956 is in a private collection.
    The Main stars being Tom Conway and Elizabeth Sellars.Fans of Anthony Newley may be interested being aware of this.

    I do wonder if it may find it's way into mainstream circulation one day?.

  2. Jeannie 1941- Michael Redgrave

    I have just watched Jeannie with Michael Redgrave. I did not know the plot of the film or if it was a good film prior to viewing.

    I do like Michael Redgrave as he tends to play ' People roles' as I see him.
    I have watched many of his later films and find that the role was a little that I expected.

    Wilfred Lawson was his usual happy self.

    I didn't like the main part. Jeannie played by Barbara Mullen as she was Naive and I just knew she would be taken ...

    I seem to be getting to be rather a disgruntled nag, about society, and it's crap design flaws. I just don't mean crap designs, but the whole ethos of society today. I had a gripe a while back about cistern diaphragms, the non-availability of spares, only available in a pack of ten different styles, just one, that might fit, of any use to the buyer, so throw the rest away....
    Today, I found yet another advance in technology, and it's natural wastage on the sales front . ...

    The other day, the wifely woman, shot into the local supermarket during her dinnerbreak, a quick nip in to buy the essentials you understand. After her findings, she joined a rapidly forming queue, at all the checkout points.     Hands up those, who have purchased something, in all seriousness, to do a certain job, and it doesn't work. I have, any number of times, only to be disappointed then, or a bit later. Who has lashed out loads of cash for a DVD player, only to find the sound doesn't work right, a DVD doesn't work, but, another one will. What video player kept mangling tapes, lines across the screen maybe, or the spinning reels packed up, the heads are knackered is a favourite shop excuse for selling yet another machine. ...
