I have just watched Jeannie with Michael Redgrave. I did not know the plot of the film or if it was a good film prior to viewing.

I do like Michael Redgrave as he tends to play ' People roles' as I see him.
I have watched many of his later films and find that the role was a little that I expected.

Wilfred Lawson was his usual happy self.

Hands up those, who have purchased something, in all seriousness, to do a certain job, and it doesn't work. I have, any number of times, only to be disappointed then, or a bit later. Who has lashed out loads of cash for a DVD player, only to find the sound doesn't work right, a DVD doesn't work, but, another one will. What video player kept mangling tapes, lines across the screen maybe, or the spinning reels packed up, the heads are knackered is a favourite shop excuse for selling yet another machine. ...
