Hooray, all done and finished, window sills were sealed today and painted by myself and the wifely woman, now to replaster the dining room apparently, alter the fireplace structure, refloor and decorate. then the hall and stairs. I thought I could take it easy for the forseeable future, but, life is like that, better than death...

Floors done, Cupboards done, lighting done, new ceiling done, television rewiring done, oven fitted done, plumbing and water softener done, tiling done, grouting done, painting done, shelves done, window sills painted and done.......I am now ready for a new task, escorting elephants over the Alps sounds easy and restful, and it would get me out of the house.....see you.

The damned grouting is finished, hoorah for that, 17.50 Sunday. Just a bit of painting that the wifely woman is going to do, then I put up a few shelves and then a long winter of nothing. Christ, I ache....

Still going on the grout journey, my wife has blisters on her finger tips, I have one on my little finger, I got cramp in the right leg whilst standing on a ladder. About half way done now...

I have reached a point in the proceedings, wherein, I can honestly state I hate grouting and all associated with it. Done about a third, regret not paying someone stupid enough to do it for a living....God bless their socks.
