Tangenitalising....I think.

When I start getting involved in a conversation, either verbally or on a web post, the subject gets wildly out of synch with the original format. My wifely woman always tells me off for going off at a tangent and so does everyone else, has anyone noticed me doing it.......

A couple of weeks ago I bought two egg poacher thingys in Boscastle down South. It was advertised as being able to hook on the side of the pan and contain the egg until cooked and then with the aid of the hooky handle, you could lift the things easily from the pan, fat chance. First the pan is not big enough to contain two of these things across the pan width, I altered the handles angle until that worked right, I then had to decipher the instructions and apply logic until we could start cooking....

Suffering an unprecedented heatwave now, way too many functions on the boiler for me to grasp, it can jump through hoops of fire, play Cribbage and Poker, and draw all the life force and money out of it's owner, all at the press of a button, or several buttons. All done and dusted and the wifely woman now begins to clean the carpets. I am developing webbed feet like Jenny Seagrove through the damp matting everywhere, I was glad to go to work for a while....

Still without hot water and heating, fortunately the weather has been freezing so we cannot feel the cold with numbness all over. Very reluctant to extricate myself from the bed in the A.M. It should all be up and running this evening, after three days of installation and alteration by the gas people. I have never known a person consume so much coffee apart from myself who became almost allergic to it, still a good fitter nonetheless and all praise to him....I had a teasing warm radiator this morning...

[color=lime]Have I told you about the gasboard service engineer who condemmed our backboiler and fire. just before our hols as well. We have had no hot water or heating for over two weeks, the weather is cold and my feet are numb.
