I love watching Last of the summer wine my favourites are Howard and Marina they are hilarious , smiler is funny too, also Nora Batty is the highlight of the show.

summer wine is a good place for great character actors to retire to.Bert Kwouk,Brian Murphy,Stephen Lewis the list is endless.I met the late Bill Owen many years ago,nice chap, and his son Tom was round the other day.It certainly put the old mill town of Holmfirth on the map....boy

I think that prog is just pure British talent. I wounder how succesful it is overseas as it is so British?
