I recently purchased the sheet music from a charity shop, of Tommy Steele's 'Little White Bull'. It was very yellow looking, but, cheap and easy to play. Inside was a handritten list of a lot of his film titles. Mainly musicals, but, on looking on Youtube, I found the above clip, in his own words, we get a picture of his life....marvellous, lucky chap....

Denis Shaw (7 April 1921 – 28 February 1971) was a British character actor specialising in slimy villains. Born in Dulwich, he was a rotund man, with dark, wavy hair, and slanty eyes. This appearance meant he would often be found troubling countless heroes of the 1950s and 1960s on film and television, most memorably as the German guard Priem in The Colditz Story (1955).
Alternatively, he could also be found propping up the tavern bar in a number of British horror films. These include Blood of the Vampire (1958), Jack the Ripper (1959), The Man Who Could Cheat Death (1959), The Mummy (1959), The Two Faces of Dr. Jekyll (1960), The Curse of the Werewolf (1961) and The Day of the Triffids (1962).
1959 saw a change of pace when he took the leading role of judo-throwing Interpol detective Caesar Smith in Great Van Robbery. In the film he travels to Rio de Janeiro, Rome and Paris, tracking the robbers of a Royal Mint van.
His many television credits include, The Adventures of Robin Hood, The Avengers, Danger Man, Dixon of Dock Green, The Prisoner, Sherlock Holmes and Z Cars.
He died in London of a heart attack at the age of forty-nine.
A familiar face around the bars of Soho in London, he is mentioned in Keith Waterhouse's play Jeffrey Bernard is Unwell.

Glyn Houston (born in Tonypandy, Wales on 23 October 1926), is an actor best known for his television work. He is the brother of the late film actor Donald Houston.
Perhaps Glyn Houston's most notable role was as "Duncan Thomas", literary agent, in the 1980s British sitcom Keep it in the Family. He appeared in a number of films including The Great Game.
In the 1970s he played Lord Peter Wimsey's valet Bunter opposite Ian Carmichael in the teleplays of several of Dorothy Sayers tales.
Other credits included My Good Woman (1973–1974), Inspector Morse, It Ain't Half Hot Mum, Minder and Doomwatch, as well as the recurring character "Det Supt Jones" in Softly, Softly.
He has also appeared twice as different characters in Doctor Who — as "Professor Owen Watson" in The Hand of Fear (1977) and as "Colonel Ben Wolsey" in The Awakening (1984).
In all he has over a hundred television and film credits, dating back as early as 1950.
In May 2000, he unveiled a Mining Memorial in his native Rhondda at Rhondda Heritage Park. He led the tributes to the thousands of miners who died and suffered during 150 years of mining in the South Wales coalfield.
